In October, I had the opportunity to organise additional recording sessions for Amelia Tokarska’s upcoming harp album with my adaptations of Celtic music. As part of the session, whistles and pipes were recorded with the participation of virtuoso Marcin Rumiński from the band SHANNON, known for his collaborations with such artists as Zbigniew Namysłowski, Grzegorz Turnau, Michał Urbaniak and many others. The incredible Tadeusz Mieczkowski was in charge of mixing and mastering of the entire upcoming album. Several types of whistles and pipes were included as a complementary element in the album, an important part of the adaptation of more and less known Celtic music harp themes. The recordings were made in the S2 studio of Polish Radio and are ready for release also in Dolby Atmos™ standard. The session was a great pleasure for me as a producer, arranger and art-director of this project. There was a profound understanding between me, Marcin and Tadeusz in terms of (not only) the musical aspects.
Stay tuned, more news is coming soon!
